That sounds normal to me. When my Touch is misbehaving (as detailed above), it can drain like 10% or even more over one evening. So it sounds to me like you are good.
In my own case, I am still waiting for it to drain again (it is now behaving OK). Then I'll recharge it, wait one evening, and if it is once again acting up, will send it back right away.
