Yes the screen is only 1024x600, but it's bright and clear. I can use this for hours on end (last Saturday I used it all day for a project at a friend's house). I was no more fatigued than if I'd used a tablet all day.

I can use MS Office apps, including Access, perfectly acceptably on my Samsung N130, which is running XP.

When I hook it up to my widescreen monitor it runs those applications and drives a resolution of 1920 x 1080 completely acceptably.

Slow for high-end gaming maybe, but not slow for work as 'a real computer'.
