I definitely read more when I have an ereading device, even when that device was a 3lb Windows netbook, which is what I first used to explore ebooks. Not only was there an uptick when I got that device, but after it was stolen I went several months without a decent device (I'm not going to sit and stare at my 22" monitor to read a book, nor my 2.2" phone screen), and was still reading, but considerably less. The increase since I got my Nook Color hasn't been quite as steep (I'm gaming and forum-haunting quite a bit), but once again I'm always reading something, and once again can read just about anything I get it in my head to read, when I want to read it.
