You may just want to post the last few lines of the debug file before the crash as the other lines will contain a lot of details about your books.
I suspect there may be an issue with the way the signal handlers are set for the menu, since I allow the menu to be modified to change the default behaviour, etc. I thought all of this was worked out as there have been no reported issues under Windows or Linux, but for OSX there does seem to be some lingering problem. But since I don't use OSX I can't test myself. You're debug output will at least show if the command is completing.
