Just another reminder that Barnes and Noble Nook Books are now available to Canadian residents with Canadian IPs and Canadian credit cards. That includes freebies such as this one. There are geo-restrictions as you'll find with Amazon Kindle, and the DRM requires you to open the books on a Nook (which you cannot buy from B&N and ship to Canada ... but the books open perfectly well with the PC-based Nook ereader. (Enterprising folk might even discover ways to transfer titles onto other devices.)

Beyond the freebies -- always welcome! -- B&N's Nook offerings provide Canadian customers with a fourth ebookstore after Amazon, Kobo and Sony; and to be fair, Nook's store far outclasses Sony's Canadian effort.
