Kindle for Mac auto update did not work..

Kindle for Mac on my iMac stopped syncing. Support told me to update to the latest app. My software was 1.4 Newest was 1.6.

Here's the strange thing. I had "auto update" TURNED ON in prefs but the software never notified me of updates nor did it "auto" update as it was supposed to.

Lesson... don't trust Kindle Auto Update
