I did look at the Sony Pocket reader yesterday and that was pretty nice as well, but it's about $170 everywhere I found it, depite finding lots of people saying they found it for between $100 and $120.

Nook Touch does not do landscape, Sony does. That can't be improved even via hack, as far as I know; feel free to correct me if I am wrong and there are some videos about it, using landscape I mean.
Landscape mode is a must for most PDF documents, poetry and computer books.
I don't understand why B&N refuses to implement that.
