I have my Kindle 3 in a very protective flip case. I paid $25 on Amazon.
I like the case because it makes the Kindle very easy to handle and I can just throw on the bed or couch when I'm done reading.
However, I'm wondering if I should have just bought the
SquareTrade coverage for it. They sell a 3-year extended warranty which also covers drops and water
spill damage. It costs $39.99 but they have 30%-off codes all the time, making
it $27.99. Not bad for 3 years. (not to mention that it's only $3 more than my
$25 Kindle case

Does anybody have experience dealing with SquarTrade's
claim process? Do they try to get out of paying claims if your Kindle is accidentally
dropped and damaged?
