Mistborn is one of the more readable and original fantasy series I've read in the past 30 years. I'm looking forward to the latest instalment in that universe which will be released in a few months I think.
Way of Kings was even better. A bizarre world but very original and interesting. Sanderson has a style the really fits my current tastes in fantasy so I find him very easy to read.
