The following is NOT intended as a solution, or even an excuse for B&N's failure to at least duplicate the system on the NC.

However, there is a crippled "folders view" accessible in the Library. However, as the "My Files" name implies, it is only good for side-loaded stuff. Still doesn't help with any books purchased from BN.

Of course, there are "Shelves" for which you have to tediously select from that endless list and place your categorized books onto. But that doesn't make the list any shorter -- just shows check marks for the books already on the shelf you have open.

I've had my STR for a couple days, and I gotta say it was the right choice (for me). But that doesn't mean there isn't room for improvement.
