Kindle exclusive magazines

It appears that Tribune Media Services is developing some new magazines that will be distributed exclusively through the Kindle. One of them is already available:

Opinionated: Voices and Viewpoints on America and the World

Quote:
Product description
Opinionated was created to give readers some of the best political and social commentary from the right, middle and left of the political spectrum in one convenient place, with no other distractions. Drawing on our list of dozens of regular and guest contributors, Opinionated includes ten Pulitzer prize-winning commentators - with a total of sixteen Pulitzer prizes among them - and two Nobel laureates, opining on topics ranging from the US political process and world affairs to popular culture. The liberal side of the aisle includes the incomparable Arianna Huffington, Garrison Keillor, Carl Hiaasen and two-time Pulitzer winner Clarence Page. On the right we feature conservative stalwart Cal Thomas and the hot new voice of young conservatives, Jonah Goldberg, among others. The independent slot includes the unique voice of Pulitzer winner Leonard Pitts Jr. On world affairs we can call on Henry Kissinger, Ian Bremmer, William Pfaff and Paul Kennedy among many others. Never dull, always provocative, Opinionated is a regular and satisfying fix for opinion junkies.
According to a press release there are more magazines in the works on topics including personal finance, travel, food and popular culture.

I've just gotten a trial subscription to Opinionated and so far it seems quite interesting. It's only $1.49 per month or $0.49 per weekly issue.
