You can see where the files are stored by opening a book in the Library software (like you would to read it) and clicking on the "i" icon over toward the upper-right. That'll tell you the path.
You won't be able to edit the meta-data on books you bought from Sony, by the way: they're encrypted.
Just want to make sure you know that before you try it.
