If you paid for for your MB Air you can install it on your mini for free... up to 5 computers as long as they are on the same iTunes account. I upgraded my iMac, MB Pro, and my sister's MB with out having to pay again. I also saved the download from the app store should I needed in the future. CNET had a video on how to burn the image to a thumb drive (Or DVD) to save yourself the expense.
