Covers for PDF Comics

Has anyone been able to get this to work?

I'm using Comic Rack to automatically convert 6 or more issues to PDF and combine them (kind of like story arc issues), and they all look great!

However I would like to add them to my Nook Library without using PV Viewer, ACV or whatever.

They all show up on the Nook, but I can't seem to get the cover to show.

Converting PDF to PDF using Calibre really screws the margins to the right, and it doesn't just convert page to page well.

Just curious if there has been any advances in this.
