Price matters, but I would not buy something that is too heavy for its size. For a tablet that we will be using mainly as a reader (because that's what we are talking about here, right?), that's extremely important, in my opinion.

Take the example of the new HP tablet: has an awesome operating system, but besides lacking of enough applications for its size , at least at this point, it is kind of bulky when compared against similar ones, like iPad.

The Nook Color is another example. Has a very competitive price, but it is bulky when you compared against similar devices, like Samsung Galaxy.

I prefer to pay more, if the weight is also the right one, for the size. Then I look for the features that will provide out of the box.
