I won't be 'staying' with her, but we'll be meeting in the afternoon with my son and his fiancee, then all of us going to dinner together. (Most of the wedding guests, including my ex, her husband and their two daughters, live out of town and will be staying over in hotels, as will I.) Then the next day and evening there is a BBQ/wedding rehersal/dance for all the guests who are coming into town for the wedding the next day. My son's band will perform, and several of us old folkies will play too. Obviously, his mother will be there too.. so that's two days. Then on Saturday, the wedding and reception... Day three. There 'may' be a Sunday Brunch too... I don't know yet.

It really won't be that difficult. There are only one or two women from my past who would not sit to table with me. In my past, I didn't so much as 'break up' with girlfriends, rather, I wore them out. I live a fast paced life, and always have. We usually parted friends and remained friends and often lovers for years afterwards. Some even came to Asia to visit or travel with me for a month or two before I met my wife.

Have a great one. V envious - haven't been to the States since 1990.
Thanks. That was about the last time I was in Vermont too. Although I've visited the US 4-5 times in the past 20+ years, we never went north. We hiked and biked in the Blue Ridge Mountains, the Smokies, went diving in the Florida Keys, etc. but I never went back to Vermont. I just wish the clock would move a little bit faster... I'm really having a lot of trouble waiting to leave the house!!!!!
