If you're talking about Flidias, they had sex before they went out on the hunt, IIRC, way before he realized that she was acting at the behest of another. How is he supposed to turn down a request for anything, from one of the gods of his pantheon? He seemed to hold true to his own moral code in his actions.
But, be that as it may, if you didn't like it for whatever reason then you didn't like it. Too bad.
