Self-confessed iOS aficionado here, but open-minded. I did get in on this deal but have yet to get word on when it might be delivered. And yes-I have read reviews and know it's bound to have issues and in no way can be compared to the Honeycomb tablets that abound now. If I can figure out how to sideload, maybe a few apps-for sure Kindle. and wouldn't mind another internet viewer and e-reader option to walk around the house with or to easily tote around. This could end up being a holy disaster for me, but I'm giving it a whirl.

update: holy disaster indeed. first off, screen is cracked even though it says it's a refurb. Second, darn thing won't stay on-turns off. Third, touchscreen does not register a thing. Can't even begin to calibrate as I can't touch on that setting to do so! Being sent back, and if they have an exchange they'll send me one, but if not, a refund. I'll take the refund! And I have to send it back at MY expense. But, at least I knew this would be the case.
