Very interesting information, particularly about how the metrics are done. I may have to do a little more research
Of course it doesn't change the fact that a ROM change is needed to implement any additional fonts. As you know there are only 3 font sets in this unit and only one of them is completely supported. I can expect the reason that the other two are so sparse is the lack of room.
