Woke up sluggish and with MR-induced headache - eyestrain from long computer session yesterday. Like a hangover. Though this isn't quite as intense. According to my addictive-person's inherent/brain-wired encyclopedia of addictive behaviors, the cure is hair-of-the-dog, so I'm back.

I like lurking. I'd rather listen and not speak than speak for the sake of speaking with nothing much to say. But silence in social settings is my natural introspective stance, so sometimes I make an effort to communicate. Booze used to be my crutch for that. Anyway, the word lurker has sinister connotations, so I prefer to use the label "Silent People." There are usually many of us at social gatherings that the louder (dare I say 'more obnoxious'?) people rarely even notice.

Denial is a river washing people out to sea to drown in their troubles. If they first survive the crocodiles.

I can't do that. I tried. MR is too distracting to me just knowing it's there. I admire your strength of will.

The super-secret global spy network that doesn't exist and no one knows about won't let us talk about the super-secret inner-chambers of MR that don't exist and no one knows about. Paranoia can be a healthy mechanism even for addictive people.
