This is exactly what I discovered when I replaced my PC with a new Windows 7 PC. I installed ADE and authorised the new computer with my existing Adobe ID but it wouldn't recognise/authorise my PRS650. After I installed Sony Library it was suddenly recognised by ADE and everything was sweet.You just have to remember when you install Sony Library not to allow it to associate ACSM files or it will take over from ADE when you purchase ebooks.
