I am not sure if this has already been posted (i haven't read all 14 pages!) but I would love to see a way to manage having 2 Kobos share 1 account and 1 Kobo desktop.

As it stands now, my husband and I avoid using the desktop as we do not have the same taste in books and don't have common titles on our Kobos. However in order to install firmware upgrades I have to sync to the desktop which involves changing the 'I'm Reading' for each machine prior to syncing.

We only keep purchased, unread titles on our Kobos but this is still 15-20 books each and is a pain in the butt going through the 60 or more titles we have purchased to determine which ones belong on which reader and are still unread. The ability to upgrade the firmware easily (no sideloading copies of the new firmware, please) without syncing would be a great start. Recognizing multiple libraries would be even better.

As an aside, I have not tried yet but I am guessing that one-time use discount coupons don't recognize multiple readers, but rather the account as well. Does anyone know if this is the case? It would be nice if the discounts were by reader not by account as we actually have 3 Kobos in the house (one original) and it would be nice to use the discounts for each.
