I normally respond by pretending I don't understand her. When she uses Shopping "Mall" she uses the American pronunciation that sounds a bit like "mawl" or "Mul" rather that the English (at least in my part of the country) "Mal".
So the conversation goes something like:
Daughter - Are we going to the Shopping Mawl
Me - Uh, what sorry
Daughter - owh Dad! the shopping mal
Me - do you mean the shopping centre?
Poor girl, she has a lot to put up with.
