I figure the kids will be more likely to lose a sleeve than a cover that's connected. I've discussed the pros and cons of each and everyone I've talked to thinks pretty much the same. As far as those other methods, it's not just one, and it's not for me. (Besides, both of your methods sound more sleeve-like than connected-cover-like.) I do have some money to spend on this, just not tons.
