Even in less dire situations, it's been great. Everywhere I've tried to use it, I get some sort of cellular data connection. I live in Chile, so that's saying something

I just got the Kindle 3G with special offers yesterday. Is it just me or is it really difficult to navigate with the built-in internet browser? Zooming in and out was no problem, but the response was slow... almost like a 1980 PC.

I guess I should treat it as an emergency back-up internet device?
