Haha, I assure you I am not afraid at all from technology. I own two iOS devices, 2 computers, a smartphone and all the like. I'm quite interested in technology and I do buy stuff that make my life easier.

What made me reluctant to deal with electronic documents is the collector in me. I have always been someone to collect books and classical music CDs. I want to be able to have the physical collection on my library if I buy something. That's exactly the reason why I refuse to buy any digital music content. Although this means that I shell I out more money than I have to (buying discs from amazon and bn.com and shipping them to Turkey is indeed a bit more costly) I don't think I will ever revert to digital music purchase.

At this point I should state that, I do store my physical music library on my computer in perfect rips. Then again, one should not talk big, I might just have to buy music online in the near future. This just doesn't thrill me.

What led me to buy a Kindle is also the lack of content available in my country. I prefer to read works in their original language, not some translation of the work. This means that I have to buy English and French books. While there are quite a lot of English books on sale, more often than not, I have extreme troubles finding stuff that interest me specifically. French books are pretty much impossible to find, so I have always used amazon.fr and fnac for my purchases.
