Your K3 is returnable for 30 days. You won't really be making an exchange, just returning the K3 and then purchasing whatever the new one is called.
But .. usually new Kindle releases get announced and then there is a pre-order period. Right now the rumor mill is suggesting a product announcement sometime in August and deliveries will start happening in October. That sounds reasonable because October is the time that companies want the greatest media hype and visibility, to get their wares in all the holiday buying guide literature that starts pumping out in mid to late November.
