I am curious what about electronic readers made you reluctant to buy a reader?

My own pop is terrified of technology and only reluctantly deals with it, he has a ten year old wireless router in his home that works barely. My grandmother wouldn't touch any technology that did not exist before the 1960s, she did not even have a color TV, seemed to think satan was in the color aspect. My wife has been draged kicking and screeming into the 21st century, the technology involved in her cell phone did not exist before 2000.

I have a lot of experience with people that are afraid of technology.
