OK, I've got it.
Put two slices in, do one side of each for 30 secs.
Turn both over, and after 15 sec take one out and put in a new slice.
After the full 30 secs, one slice is ready.
Now put both 15 sec slices for another 15 secs. You now have another completed slice.
Put in last slice with one side done for the final 30 secs.
Voila! 3 slices in about 1 min 45 secs.
