Howdy!

I have been a lurker for some time, not very long I'm afraid since I was pretty reluctant to be reading e-books at all. Needless to say I have succumbed to the urge to buy an e-book reader for various reasons and now I'm kicking myself for not having done it earlier.

I'm from Turkey, I'm an industrial engineering student at a school that is deemed respectable here but in reality is a school that does not deserve the least amount of respect as far as I am concerned, and I have been a heavy reader for as long as I can remember.

As I have stated already, I have resisted the idea of e-books for quite a long time and I have used them only when I absolutely had to, so buying a Kindle didn't happen until 2 weeks earlier. I have been doing research about e-readers for about a month before that, and that's when I have found about mobileread. I must say that this place has been a very impressing information source for me, before and after making the purchase.

I will not drag on any more, just wanted to say hi and introduce myself to you all!
