Back in the 1920s a new kind of electric toaster was manufactured.
It could toast two slices of bread at once, but it only toasted one side of the bread at a time. First, you'd put the bread in the toaster, and after 30 seconds, you'd
turn the slices over to toast them for another 30 seconds on the other side. Now here's our problem. Dick and Jane were in a hurry and wanted to toast three slices of bread for breakfast. How could they do it in less than two minutes?
