Taking a dinner break. I left my Finance homework til the last possible second last week (turned it in with half an hour to spare). Well, I paid for it with a mediocre grade, so determined I wasn't doing that this week. Assignments are due on Sundays, this is Thursday (and a day off work for me). I'm half done with the individual Finance assignment, and turned in my part of the group project ( at least I hope that's all the group leader wants...). The other class is Strategic Staffing and I'm not unduly worried about that one (though by my also mediocre grade in that class maybe I should be!)
I do okay with Finance as longas I can find the formulas (for those who didn't know, like me, Finance is all dealing with profit margins and break-even analyses, and degrees of different kinds of leverage -fun, right? No, I don't think so either). It's when she starts asking WHY this formula makes a difference to that number that my brain freezes up and says, "forget it". I can get the right numbers (most of the time) but analyzing them? No way.
