Hi All,
this post to announce you a new (yet another) odt to epub conversion tool: Jotex.
You can find it here:
http://code.google.com/p/jotex/
Its goal is produce epub as close as possible to the original odt (css is generated on-the-fly just inspecting odt's styles)
It supports:
- Paragraphs with, sub-stylizations, backgroud colors, text colors, italic/bold/uderline text segments, margins, alignments, indentations, chars dimensions, etc.
- Headigns (useful,also, to build epub's toc)
- Page breaks
- Footnotes
- Internal links
- Images (jpg,png, gif)
- Meta infos
- Lists (actually only one level)
- Tables (actually only coded without any style)
- Font Embedding (ecrypted with “adobe” or “idpf” algorithms)
- Contents files splitting over a given max size (in KB)
Jotex is published under LGPL license. Any feedback will be appreciated
Thanks
Ciao
Luca
