Thanks. The fact that there's an instruction video is daunting, but being able to see how it works is a big plus. I'd like to do something in Calibre, because it's faster than my Kindle (the 5 way is a drag, and makes me miss the touchscreen on my Nook STR) and because ALL of my books are there, instead of the subset that is on the Kindle.
I'm such a noob, I don't know how to reset or restart my Kindle. Guess I better start searching for info on that.
Dropbox works fantastically for ebook storage. Anywhere, anytime access, which is great for me since I switch between PC and Mac so often. And it takes just a couple of taps within the iPod Touch or iPad app to open one of your ebooks in another app on the device, such as GoodReader or iBooks or Stanza, so if you forget to load something up before a trip, you can still snag it and read it.
As long as you don't try to use two instances of Calibre at once and get the files confused, it works perfectly. I've had it this way for months with no issues at all.
