Be aware that many more of Baen's books are available free, legally from http://baencd.thefifthimperium.com/, which are copies of the CDs that Baen has distributed free with some of their hardbacks.

Edited to add: I've been seeing more and more books at Amazon without DRM. Keep your eyes open for "Device Usage: Unlimited" on the book page. That means no DRM.
