Ah... I see. So you don't technically need access to the filesystem at the same time you're using the device. You would just like the ability to access the filesystem easily (quickly) without plugging in and unplugging and all that entails. Gotcha.

But really, even access to the filesystem wouldn't help you much in your scenario, without having the ability to directly edit files with the Kindle keyboard. That's another feature entirely which wouldn't technically require the ability to browse the filesystem at the OS level. You want a file editing app.

I'm confused. I can do that right now. I move the book to a folder with my PC and then using just my Kindle, place it any collection I choose. Where does the third-party app enter into that?
