Ok; I finally got Calibre to co-operate & work right last night. I also tried a Factory Reset hoping it would check my Literati's RAM based FS for bad blocks & run fsck -fy /... No such luck & it froze up so bad that I had to reinstall the V. 2.0 Firmware Update. My guess at this point is that my SanDisk 8 GB SDHC card might be incompatible with the Literati's firmware.
I read on a review site that they only can recognize certain brands of SDHC cards & I think the Black Literati (i.e.: model number 19023) must have issues recognizing newer SanDisk 8 GB SDHC cards in general...
