Windows 98 and USB 1.1 Generic Drivers

If anyone has the need to connect to their Reader (And perhaps others like the Iliad) on an older PC with Win98/Win98SE if you are willing to treat the reader strictly as a mass storage device and non DRM titles you can use these drivers:

I used the 2.4 edition since this system had USB 1.1 and not 2.0. (Not my main system) and worked exactly as per instructions. All you need to do then is identify what drive letter it mounts as and copy titles to /Data/media/books

I know anyone that can afford a few hundred on a dedicated ebook device probably would have already brought their main computer into the 21st century. But in case you want to access it elsewhere, at work, or on the road where nothing else is available, there you go. -MJ
