Yes, Help / About will give you the program's version number.
But be aware that there is no way (as far as I know) of knowing the country version, that is, whether it's a US, UK, German version, or whatever.
This is important, because you can only register the app in the Amazon store for the country in question. The Options dialogue always says that you are registered at Amazon.com (my emphasis), but that's not the case if you obtained the app from Amazon in another country. And there's no way of knowing that.
At least, that was the case the last time I checked.
