If someone does pick this up, i hope they make a version for all new models not just those with a touch screen.

The built-in player is sorely lacking for a player that was promoted to be able to play audio-books.
A player that plays audio-books should be able to:
1) select more than an individual file to open.
2) remember the playlist between sessions.
3) remember the position in the playlist between sessions.
4) remember the position in the current file in the current playlist between sessions.

Without all those things: Someone is either assuming you'll listen to a whole book without stopping or that you'll memorize your exact position in the book.
Not cool pocketbook, I specifically took into account the promised ability to play audio-books when I decided to buy my 602.
