So says the person who clearly knows nothing about the Sony reader. I don't know how to remove DRM but even when brand-spanking-new to ereaders with my Sony I knew I could buy from more than one place. Pretty much any place that had the same format that my reader could read that wasn't locked in to a specific vendor like Amazon or Barnes & Noble.

With Kindle, if you don't know how to remove DRM or you choose not to for ethical reasons, there's nowhere else you can buy books for the device.

I like having options. Amazon only is not options.
