I am sure you are correct as I am sure it would not be that difficult to take a few extra steps every time I want to purchase a book. However, the policy does not benefit the user in any way, rather it makes it more difficult for the user to use the product. But, in any case it is not a problem for me, I don't need to buy any more products from Apple and I won't.
