the install actually works ok, the error comes at the end of the install, when it's cleaning up.
I can try your download when next upgrade is released, but really the installer needs fixing.
I did one time go through the advanced installer options, a few weeks back, in order to tell it not to make a desktop icon, & possibly this issue began after doing that, though there's no obvious connection ?
