I found out that cat Rovertje thinks knitting is a game especially designed for him. I would have expected him to go after the yarn but he is fascinated by the knitting needles. It's very hard to knit when there's a cat chewing on the end of one of the needles.
I'm starting to get the hang of it. When I've finished with my current yarn I'm going to attempt knitting a scarf.
