Well, the
current RRP in the UK on the Potter paperbacks ranges from £6.99 (the first three in the series) to £8.99 (the last four). The publisher, Bloomsbury, does sell them all online with a 25% discount, so they are actually less than that, and they obviously cost less still on Amazon.
My guess is that the eBooks will cost around a third less than the RRP of the print books. I'd like it to be more, but I don't think it will be - given the example set by Agency pricing already, and the fact that these will sell even if there was no financial incentive to purchase them in a digital format.
I do hope for a considerably better discount for buying all seven though.
I've watched all the films, and eagerly await reading the books now. My girlfriend has a few of them in dead tree format, but I don't want to have to cart a hefty hardback (I'm looking at you, 'Order of the Pheonix') around with me.
So. I think we're looking at (roughly) ~£4.69 for the smaller books, and around ~£5.99 for the larger.
