Yeah... I have to explain to my husband why I need new gadgets and very expensive yarn and a ton of books... But he's a gamer*, so I explain things in terms of video games. "Yes, I don't
need this book, but it's only $7 and it'll take me about 30 hours to read it, so that's waaaay cheaper than your price-to-hours-of-entertainment ratio on games."
