I never liked it on the iPhone a book can be 1000 pages even though the original book is only 250 pages. But ofcourse if the device tends to turn two pages at once it can be difficult to verify if you are on the right page.

I agree, I listed it since I got confused in the beginning, I did not care about the page numbers until the device started flipping pages on it's own and I tried to get back to what I thought was the same page.
