Not off to a good start...
Ordered 2 Kobo touch on Friday, it shipped Monday and I was very happy to receive it today. I opened mine up (the Black one, the wife got a Lilac) and peeled off the sticker and somehow there was already a little nick in the screen. I picked at it with my fingernail a little to be sure it was the screen and not just adhesive from the clear sticker.
I dont really know what to say. Its like getting a scratch on a new car it was bound to happen eventually but to actually have it come that way is upsetting. On the other hand it is very small, like magnifying glass needed to see it small, and other than the fact I know it is there, I probably wouldnt see it if I wasnt looking for it.
Even if they took my word at face value I dont want to wait weeks to get a replacement sent via mail. Any chance they would exchange it in store?
On the bright side, I am looking forward to starting reading again. I feel like I will make time for it now with this device, previously it has been years since I was an avid reader, but I have always enjoyed reading since I was little.
