Time to move on from Sony PRS-300

Hello, all -

Well, it's finally happened. My beloved PRS-300 isn't doing it for me anymore. It's got too much of a lag time when I "turn" pages, it's not holding a charge for as long as I'd like and the library set up is clunky. It's time for me to upgrade, but I don't know where to start, so I'm turning to you for guidance!

I don't need color and don't need wi-fi (although if it's included, great). The size of the PRS-300 was good, never felt like I was shortchanged. I don't keep tons of books on my e-reader. Maybe 20-30. When I'm finished reading one, off it goes. The ink for the PRS-300 was great...bright sunlight or lamp, my eyes never got tired.

So, wise readers...What do you think? What current model e-reader is going to replicate my PRS-300 experience, but better?

Thanks!
