I downloaded and installed the update with no problem. I had been using Froyo email with the standard Ermine update. It no longer was able to get on line or find my contact list for addressing emails after the update. I decided that Ermine was pretty stable and reasonably fast and re-installed it - Froyo email problem gone. I'm sorry that I lost the thread for the 1.01.001 update. I would have put this reply on it for the author to analyze.

By the way, the standard email client worked, but that couldn't find my contacts either (there are over 1200 addresses on that list).
